Miss Sophie Brielle made her appearance in the world on Friday, May 4, 2007. She weighed 8lb 12 oz. A typical Galand, she was 11 days late. Mom and Dad were extremely happy to be able to hold their baby girl.
Naturally, she is beautiful. What else could a new baby be? In truth, she was very alert and had none of the red, wrinkled, worried old man look that many newborns have. I think that extra 11 days allowed her to gain a bit of baby fat and removed the wrinkles.<
She has many relatives as she will discover in time. She will soon feel like a football as she is handed from doting aunt, to grandparent, to great-grandparent, etc. Her cousins all survived this adoration and she will also.
