Slashing My Stash

I took some pictures of my current project yesterday. I took a pic of each step in the process of making 1 block. So far, it's looking pretty good. I'm using various greens as the 6" square and peach/pink prints for the strips that go around it in Log Cabin style. I'm thinking I may throw in a small black/white polka dot for a block or 2 to add a bit of visual interest. So, here are the pix:

UNCUT BLOCK

FIRST CUT : Cut 3 1/2" from edge of square, NOT edge of block.

FIRST CUT MADE

SECOND CUT:
Again, 3 1/2" from edge of square. I have 2 1/2" shown here but that's wrong. I did correct before I made the cut.

DONE
Ready to be mixed with 29 other blocks.

Whew!!! I don't know how Bonnie does this. I'm exhausted from getting them arranged in order. Not to mention trying to take a decent shot. Good thing I shot multiples.

So, now you know what I've been up to the past few days. The sewing demons have me.
