YouTube Day

Here I sit creating movies to u/l to YouTube. It takes forever because graphics just slow things up.

On Feb.28, Olivia had her last cheer event at Spirit Dance & Cheer Competition down in Williamsburg, VA. Plus she's in a stunt group. They had a good time around the rain drops and the Black Knights won a couple of honking big trophys. Do they even make small trophys? I've never seen one. LOL

Yesterday was the first rugby game that I've been able to attend. So far, the Knightmares have had 3 games. One Olivia missed because she was in Virginia. Another was forfeited by the opposing team. Phyllis took a ton of video. Which I am now editing, dividing up and posting to YouTube. I'll put it all on a DVD later. You can only have 10 minute long videos on there.

As for me, I've become a crocheting fool. I was making a market bag for myself. The girls saw it and all asked to have one. Except for Olivia. She doesn't want one at this time. But I have 2 for daughters-in-law and 4 for granddaughters. In order to keep from being bored stiff while I crochet, I've been listening to audio books. Love it.

I found out our library has installed a program where you can borrow audio books by d/l them. You must install the OverDrive software and console for it to work. You are allowed 5 books per month. There is a time limit just as there is when you take them from the library. 14 days normally. Then, it disappears from your console and you get other books. They don't have a huge selection yet but it's pretty large. Definitely an idea whose time has come.

I also belong to audible.com and buy books from them. I only get unabridged, complete books from either place. I despise abridged one. Who knows what some stranger has decided to cut out? Maybe a great scene or lovely passage of language. I'd rather decided for myself.

That's about it from here. It's a rainy, dark day and I'm awfully sleepy. But will fight the good fight to stay awake so I can sleep tonight.

Wonderful contrasting pictures of Olivia. First very demure with a smile and a bow. The next growling and shoving her way down the field.
